Please reach out to ceo@yaakwdaatkhwaan.com with any questions.
We are pleased to invite you to submit a proposal for a project that aligns with Yak-Tat Kwaan Inc.'s (YKI) commitment to sustainable forest management and carbon credit development.
The main goal of this initiative is to create a carbon offset program on our forest properties that supports our environmental sustainability goals while generating financial returns. Established in 1973 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, YKI is an Alaska Native Corporation representing nearly 500 Tlingit and Alaskan Native shareholders. Our mission is to invest in profitable ventures that reflect responsible stewardship and Native values.
YKI owns approximately 23,000 acres of forestland near Yakutat, Alaska, and aims to enhance this asset through carbon offset projects. These efforts will not only contribute to addressing climate change but also foster economic growth for our shareholders by generating revenue through the sale of carbon credits.
We look forward to your innovative proposals that align with our vision for sustainable investment.
