NOTICE OF SALE OF EQUIPMENT BY SEALED BID

The Yak-Tat Kwaan hereby gives notice of an auction by sealed bid.

Items identified in “Attachment A”

Bids must be submitted in person or emailed to ceo@yaakwdaatkhwaan.com. For in person, you may deliver your bid to Yak-Tat Kwaan CEO Debra Lekanoff at the Yak-Tat Kwaan office (Malaspina Building), 305 Water Tank Road, Yakutat.

All bids must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “RESPONSE TO THE REQUEST FOR SEALED BID FOR THE SALE OF __________” (Please describe the item as specified in Attachment “A” of this notice). 

If emailed; the Subject line must say “RESPONSE TO THE REQUEST FOR SEALED BID FOR THE SALE OF ________”. 

DESCRIBE YOUR BID BY CABIN 4 

The winning bid amount must be paid in full, in cash, and all payments are due within one (1) week to the Yak-Tat Kwaan Office, 305 Water Tank Road, PO Box 416, Yakutat, Alaska from the successful bidder.  The successful bidder will also be required to sign a legal agreement releasing Yak-Tat Kwaan from any liability related to the purchased item; and items are sold as is.  For those cabins that need additional carpenter work, there will be an opportunity to contract with Kwaan labor. A Bill of Sale will be provided by Yak-Tat Kwaan, with no warranties attached.

The buyer must remove the purchased item from Yak-Tat Kwaan property no later than one week after purchase. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the funds paid, and the buyer will have no further claim to the item. Transportation of the buildings are the responsibility of the new owner.

The cabins are located at Sawmill Cove and appointments to view are available Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 pm. Appointments available for viewing for the cabins by calling CEO Debra Lekanoff at 360-202-9225. 

Each Cabin will be numbered, and you will be able to place a bid on the cabin of your choice.
